Microsoft – TEALS Program

Department: TEALS Program

Microsoft Philanthropies TEALS Program – Technology Education and Literacy in Schools (TEALS) – is a Microsoft Philanthropies program that connects classroom teachers with tech-industry volunteers to create sustainable CS programs. Volunteers support teachers as they learn to teach CS independently over time.

For the 2020-21 school year, we have 28 California partner high schools participating in the TEALS Program, 75% of which are Title I schools serving students from low-income communities. With the commitment of over 150 TEALS volunteers (representing 60 different employers/organizations), TEALS is supporting 39 CS classes across California. Check out the TEALS website for more information about our program nationwide.
