Come on a virtual walk around Stanford University’s campus to see and learn about rocks that make up the buildings and see some of the amazing rocks and minerals that are contained in the university collections.

Your guide will be a professor and geologist from the Geological Sciences department at Stanford who will give you the inside scoop on how geologists study rocks and learn about the Earth, answer your questions about rocks and minerals, and tell you about her research on magmas and volcanoes in California and around the world!
