Come Explore with the San Francisco Math Circle! (4th-5th grade)

Sunday,
October 25, 2020, 10:00 am

10:45 am

This is a virtual Math Circle class for 4th-5th graders. Students will spend the majority of the 45-minute class period in breakout rooms exploring together in small teams. There will be 2-4 students and one instructor per breakout room.

Students will explore one of our fun, accessible activities. We’ll use a digital app that we’ve created specially for the activity, so students won’t need to bring any materials.

Please note: Students may have difficulty participating fully in live video classes if they do not have access to a reliable internet connection and a device with a functional camera and microphone.

At the San Francisco Math Circle, we make math accessible, inclusive, and fun! The SF Math Circle is an extracurricular math enrichment program that helps students to develop their mathematical thinking skills in a supportive, collaborative, and fun environment. In our after-school classes and camps, we promote positive attitudes towards math and learning through engaging, hands-on puzzles and games that involve both creativity and critical thinking.
